Reading an attestation
What is written, what it proves, and what it does not.
The three states
The attestation is in force as of today. Nothing to do.
The validity date has passed. A renewal may be under way; this is not automatically a violation. Report it to your municipality if the situation concerns you.
The authority withdrew the attestation before its expiry. The reason is not public; the issuing authority can inform you.
Attestation types
Each authority defines its own. Here are the most common.

An authority issues
A city, borough or evaluating body grants an attestation, in its own system.
The proof is sealed
Cryptographic signature and permanent timestamp: the content can no longer be altered afterwards, not even by us.
You verify
Via the QR code displayed on site, a search, or the attestation number. The status shown is computed at the moment you look.
