🎛️ Accessibility tools built into the site

AccesID includes an advanced accessibility widget (icon at the bottom right of every page) with 5 preset profiles:

17 adjustable tools: text size, contrast, spacing, link underlining, image hiding, dark mode, read-aloud, etc.

⚠️ Non-accessible content (known limitations)

Despite our efforts, some content remains only partially accessible. We are actively working to fix these limitations.

  • Mapbox interactive maps

The interactive maps use a third-party provider (Mapbox/OSM) whose screen reader accessibility is partial. An accessible list view is available through the “List view” button on the page Accessible map.

  • Older PDF documents

Some PDF reports for businesses assessed before 2025 are not fully tagged for screen readers. These documents will gradually be replaced with accessible versions.

  • Photos without detailed alternative text

Photos uploaded by users receive generic alternative text. We encourage contributors to provide detailed descriptions (contribution form).
